allieraebillings Most people don’t think of the Barnes & Noble Café in Folsom as a lunch spot… but it’s one of my quiet go-to’s. I find myself here weekly 🤍 My order every time: kale salad, no cheese, add chicken. The dressing is unreal, and it’s such an easy, peaceful lunch if you live in Folsom or are thinking about moving here. This is one of those Folsom lifestyle spots you only discover once you’re local- or once you start exploring beyond the obvious restaurants. Have you eaten here yet, or am I the only one ordering salads at Barnes & Noble? #folsomca #folsomlifestyle #folsomrestaurants #sacramentoeats #livinginfolsom

allieraebillings Thinking about relocating to Folsom, California in 2026? There’s a lot more to consider than just finding a house… Which Folsom neighborhoods actually match your lifestyle? What schools make sense for your kids? How to budget realistically for a Folsom move? And how to time the move without unnecessary stress? Helping families and relocation buyers plan all of that out- and find the right fit- is one of my favorite parts of being an agent. If moving to Folsom has been on your mind, I created a free relocation guide that walks through neighborhoods, lifestyle, and what to expect before you move. Comment “local” and I’ll send it your way. I’m Allie Billings, REALTOR® — Folsom native with eXp Realty. #movingtofolsom #folsomrealestate #folsomhomes #folsomlifestyle #folsomrealtor
allieraebillings So many people are moving to Folsom in 2026 for the things locals already love: top-rated schools, family-friendly communities, and the balance between nature and convenience. What most people don’t realize is that where you start your home search in Folsom makes a huge difference- not just in price, but in lifestyle, commute, and how competitive the market feels. That’s why I created my 2026 Folsom Neighborhood Guide- to help buyers get oriented fast and avoid costly missteps. Comment or DM “LOCAL” and I’ll send it over 👇🏼👇🏼 I’m Allie Billings, a local real estate agent helping families and relocation buyers move here with a clear plan. #folsomrealestate #movingtofolsom #folsomca #sacramentoliving #relocatingtosacramento
allieraebillings Know this BEFORE you move to Folsom ↓ 1️⃣ Traffic is very time-dependent Folsom feels small until it’s 8:00 AM. East Bidwell, Blue Ravine, and Highway 50 back up quickly during school drop-off and commute hours. Where you live vs. where you work matters more here than most people expect. 2️⃣ Not all Folsom neighborhoods feel the same Historic Folsom, Empire Ranch, and Folsom Ranch may share a zip code, but the lifestyle, schools, walkability, and home styles are completely different. Choosing the wrong area can change how much you actually love living here. 3️⃣ Summers are hot- but the lifestyle adjusts Yes, it gets hot. Locals plan early mornings, lake days at Folsom Lake, shaded trail time, and evenings downtown. Knowing how people actually live through summer makes a huge difference. 4️⃣ Schools are strong, but boundaries matter Folsom Cordova Unified has great schools, but not every “Folsom” address feeds into the same schools. This is one of the biggest misunderstandings for relocation buyers. 5️⃣ Good homes still move fast Even in slower markets, Folsom remains a high-demand relocation area- especially for Bay Area and Southern California buyers. The best homes don’t sit long, and pricing varies by neighborhood, not just size. If you’ve been playing with the idea of moving to Folsom, I’ve got something for you 👇🏼👇🏼 👉🏼 Comment LOCAL or DM me and I’ll send you my free Folsom Relocation Guide + What It’s Like to Live Here!
